What a Success!!

Last night was the Crayons Children's resale shop Ladies Night Charity event and I'm so proud to say it was a total success!!! I'm so thankful for my friends who donated clothes that will benefit the charity Dress for Success -benefitting women who are trying to get back into the work force.

Looking forward to the next event and I'll keep you posted, of course!!

What's more fun then hanging out with your girlfriends having your nails touched up and a little massage, shopping....and helping others!? This event will be just that!!

Come to Crayons Children's Resale shop for a great night of fun!!

Crayons is working with the Dress for Success Program. A wonderful program that helps women get back into the work force. Many women need items to help dress professional for that 1st interview or 1st day on the job.
This is a FREE event - you are asked to bring your gently used - clean work attire you no longer need, such as; dresses, slacks, purses, jewelry, shoes, suits and more. All sizes even maternity needed.
The # of items you bring in will equal the # of drawing tickets for door prizes.Giving you lots of chances to win BIG!
We will have a store wide sale of 15% off all regular price items, full stocked $1+ sale racks, hair bows buy 2 get 1 FREE, 10+ vendors selling their speciality items, 4-5 massage chairs, door prizes and much more!!
Appetizers and bottled water will be served.

A new journey....

I'm heading down unfamiliar territory and yes, I admit...I'm nervous but also so excited to be starting on this journey!

It all started from my "Girls Only" weekends! We escape to a town a few hours away for some fun "market days" shopping in small town. The highlight of these weekends were getting to relax with friends. The BONUS of these trips, for me, was that I ALWAYS came home totally inspired and ready to create something ....anything!!

I have become a frequent shopper at the closest craft store (*who now know me by name~ is that a bad thing? My hubby would probably say a resounding "YES!")! I started creating different projects and quickly saw that I very much enjoyed this "me" time of creating!

This quickly became a little 'escape' for me!

So, after encouragement from family and friends....here I am! ; ) And who knows, hopefully I'll be blessed on this journey and one day I'll be the one selling my items at a "Market Days" event and it will inspire someone else to find their "escape"!

I hope this journey leads to many new friendships, contacts and happy customers!
